FAQs
Q. Where did the name Yipori come from?
It was suggested that I have 'yip!' in the name as it was pointed out that I said "yippity yip yip"... alot. (althought I didn't realise this until it was pointed out, whoops) Then the 'ori' bit was added because of the Japanese slant to the illustrations.
Q. When did you start Yipori?
Hmm that's a tricky one, I have been drawing characters since a very young age, but started to turn them into vector illustrations around 2005. The first site showing the Yipori style of images was on my blog which started on April 20th 2009.
Q. How did you get to being so awesome?
Well it all started at the age of 6 when I bit down on some radioactive lollipops... what? Oh ok, I'll get back to the real questions...
Q. What does 'kawaii' mean?
Kawaii is Japanese for cute, and can be used to describe the characters you are looking at right now.

The lovely people at Tutsplus have interviewed me, which you can read here. I would also like to thank Sean Hodge again for the opportunity
